I haven’t heard of an autism / grip strength correlation before and at first blush it sounds like pirates and global warming, but grip strength (particularly on the left side) is associated with everything from infection to heart disease to various nerve disorders so it’s possible it is a secondary or tertiary symptom of whatever causes ASD to manifest

Stepanakert (sp? main Armenian settlement in Arkatsh) has been shelled for 48 hours. For some reason, the small handful of Armenian shells that hit Azeri settlements is dominating the news cycle. Seems like the Azeris are aiming to drive out the civilians so its easier to occupy the territory.

For whatever reason, both sides are using cluster munitions in built up civilian neighborhoods. These munitions are effective against troops and materials in the open. If they are aiming to damage infrastructure (utilities, bridges, etc) they'd be better off using unitary warheads.

Whatever Kim Kardashian's concerns are, she has the net worth to buy a few batteries of Buk-M2s or Tor systems. C'mon Kim, put your money where your mouth is.

Make Armenia great again with Kardashian family member's faces plastered on the sides of SAM launchers.

Was this a failed Eurovision submital? Upload date is 2006, so... if you jerks had just voted them up, maybe the Russians wouldn't have invaded Georgia, and then Crimea, and then the Donbass.

Please be more considerate and forward thinking in your Eurovision votes going forward.

Watching this manufactured controversy in real time has been a sight to behold. Its so blatantly fake from start to finish. Basically like the K-Pop thing.

1. Create an imaginary problem and a hashtag that no one uses.
2. Signal to your tribe that you are bravely fighting the bad guys.
3. Announce that you have defeated the enemy. (https://twitter.com/Eugene_Scott/status ... 6330771458)
4. Profit?

I will repost if I can find it again, but there was a thread on twitter discussing the historical grievances of both the Armenians and Azeris.

The takeaway was that they have their own narratives that are so entrenched that a ceasefire is not palatable to the public on either side. This isn't state propoganda of today adding fuel to the fire so much as 30 years of it. The public sentiment blocks any political settlement just as much as any politician.

...

Thank goodness OUR political discourse is so reasonable and nuanced. Right?

SEC claims dominion over crypto? How? And why would they want to? How many Hodl twitter bros would they need to cuff in order to make crypto safe for the common investor?

Things are not going well for Armenia. They've lost a significant amount of materiel and some ground. Russia probably wont intervene until Armenia proper in invaded, which is not a listed objected of Azerbaijan. Seems like Armenia will keep sending its young men into this meat grinder until they lose the whole territory.

Maybe the Kardashians should source them some F5Es or F16s in lieu of ineffectual Russian SAMs.

I get the references, but what is the commentary here?
