After one listen, it ain't a bit of me. I'll try it again later. I'm starting to wish I was a "no-leaker" because I feel like I've already heard the gems of the album in Getaway, MYM and Swallowed Whole. And Future Days and SBM are not exciting me so that just leaves Infallible, Pendulum, Yellow Moon and My Fathers Son to feel some anticipation for. :?

Well yeah, if you count SBM and Future Days, We have now heard of 8 of 12 songs. Luckily, 3 of those 4 might be the very best songs on the album, Infallible, Pendulum and Yellow Moon.

After a couple of listens i'm really not sure....it's so un-Pearl Jam that it kind of makes me uncomfortable. I much prefer my PJ ballads in the Nothingman/Thumbing My Way mold. This is a big, brash, unashamed huge song which you could imagine Bon Jovi, Areosmith or Rod Stewart doing.

There's a lot of comments re Mike's song writing; i think he's written some absolutely vital PJ songs, but this track showcases the wrong parts of his song writing in my opinion.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in Sirens, I was expecting something a bit more spectacular, like ABBA or Meat Loaf.

I´ve joined the audio track of the video of Mike playing the song and Sirens into one. Sounds pretty nice, works as an intro. Don´t worry, the link is only a snippet of the song.

Were you working on this one all day?

All day? I heard this song for the first time about one hour ago.

All day? I heard this song for the first time about one hour ago.
My apologies. That's much more in line with an "about one hour ago" remark. Carry on.
