Re: No Leak Club
I'll probably ask this again on Thursday morning, but anyone else still undecided about whether or not to jump into the Sirens water this week?
The shitstorm that erupted here today has made it even more intriguing to listen to but I'm just not sure I want my first listen of LB to impacted by the fact that I would already be familiar with 2 of the first 4 songs... And for what seems like such a divisive song, hearing it in album context may be almost necessary to fully appreciate it?

Im undecided but leaning towards skipping it. I really want to hear after all the talk about it from today, but I've heard LB and FD as well, so if i listen to sirens then I will have heard track 2 3 & 4 alreadybluestate wrote:I'll probably ask this again on Thursday morning, but anyone else still undecided about whether or not to jump into the Sirens water this week?

Re: No Leak Club
2 4 & 5 you mean? Yea but how many times have you listened to LB really? I listened once on crappy speakers so I really don't remember anything that I heard so I'm not counting that. But yea, if it weren't for your stance on this, I might've folded today.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Im undecided but leaning towards skipping it. Re: No Leak Club
This thread has divulged into just me and Doc talking about the shit that matters the most to the no leak club... Elliseamos comes in once a day to take roll call... Then Skitch follows that up with some shit about the rules... Harmless drops by and wishes he was still in our group... Then we get all sorts of random posts and pics just to pass the time... With the occasional obligatory troll post from our weaker brethren.

I've listened to lightning bolt 3 times, enough to get a feel for it, but the performance didn't seem great, so I've expected it to be a lot better on the studio version.
I will decide Thursday if im gonna give sirens a listen or just continue to hold out, but if you decide to listen then enjoy the hello out of it

Hey I'm still in this club... I just don't see the need to post daily to state it... We are just posting a lot in here since some of us need to avoid the LB thread when too much specific talk about the songs is going on.....and to help our post countsTass Man wrote:Hey I'm still in this club...
