This reasoning is kinda faulty and grocery store workers generally prefer you to return your cart.

You’ll never convince me that people who can’t be bothered to return the trolley wash their hands after peeing.

It depends on how close the shopping cart return spot is. I'm not walking halfway across the parking lot!

Oh please. This is how things have always been done! It's tradition! It's perfectly acceptable to leave the cart between spaces. It's not like I leave them in a way that people are unable to park. I'm not a monster.

They already rip us off on the prices. Now you want to do free labor for them?!

You're being exploited by the corporations. Fight back! Throw the carts in the middle of the street.

Frankly, it's unethical to return the carts at all.

I actually always put away my cart but that article you linked to was really just workers saying we're busy and it's not a task we enjoy doing.

It was actually saying there is no "designated cart returner," so you're not creating jobs by doing this.

Do you guys have the trolleys where you have to put a dollar in a little lock to release it, which then gets returned when you bring it back and relock it?
