seriously though how great is it that Trump starts an argument IN HIS OWN TOWN HALL after quitting like a bitch on the 2nd debate

CNN headlines right now:

In dueling town halls, real duel is with Trump and his moderator

Left side of page:

Trump spent the entire town hall sparring with Guthrie, who wouldn't let him evade questions

Right side of page:

Biden says his position on court-packing 'depends on how this turns out'

on court packing

i am starting to come around on the idea of the Dems adding one justice to the court, and still have moral high ground

yes 10 justices

and let them duke it out for victory

GOP said not to fill a seat during election year, then totally broke their own rule

seems like that deserves a response

but just 1, to even things out

not two

according to a Time magazine news article citing the William and Mary Law review in 2016
The traditional practice of the Supreme Court of the United States is that “no affirmative action can be had in a cause where the judges are equally divided in opinion as to the judgment to be rendered or order to be made. Although equal divisions on today’s nine-member Court result from recusals, absences, or vacancies, such equal divisions can result on a full bench if Congress sets the size of the Supreme Court at an even number, as it did from 1789 until 1807, and from 1863 until 1866.
so let's party like twas 1789

Can we throw some of the NZ candidates into the poll?

Seems pretty US-centric (classic american exceptionalism)

I can’t put into words how badly I wish there was a good Republican to vote for this year.

If Biden wins, will he restore the ancient right of Primae Maybellinus? The right as executive to get the first sniff of a maidens hair?
