Snitker's managerial mistake with the pitching change / pinch hitter was enormous. If Diaz got a hit there and they lost the game, he would have probably lost his job. I couldn't believe it.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Fun game to watch as a Braves fan; they've got me back pulled in.

Yeah, that was cringe worthy. Could have been bad.CopperTom wrote:Snitker's managerial mistake with the pitching change / pinch hitter was enormous. Re: MLB
Nevermind about Smoltz, he’s boring too. At least in this series.
Fuck Will Smiths Awful pitching terrible ass.
If you want to fault Snitker, fault him for the stupid Bobby Cox esque garbage of trusting pitchers who are showing you they can’t do the job. Will Smith sucks, leave his ass in the pen. He sucked yesterday, and he was worse today.

Re: MLB
Braves had their chances yesterday but couldn't get the timely hit.
While they could well win today Atlanta's had a better postseason than I expected.

Re: MLB
There’s never been a more miserable group of choking bastards. You don’t wash off this kind of suck.
John Smoltz is dead to me.
Guess the network got what they wanted anyway.
Trade Riley immediately. Him and Swanson. You can’t be that stupid running the fucking bases.
Just like Lonnie Smith you ass holes are going down in Lore.
3 fucking hits, and this bullpen is overrated as hell.
Fucking choking ass bastards.
Go ahead and leave Freddie, this team ain’t shit.
Oh the Dodgers are so good... and they were down 3-1.
Throw fucking strikes and close it out.
They won’t be back, because they were actually healthy this year. They’re always worn out and hurt by September every other year. The pitching talent in the organization is vastly overrated as is the rest of the talent and they quite obviously aren’t good enough and being the stupid ass Braves, they’ll hang another moral victory banner, and miss out on Trevor Bauer because that would cost money. Go find Another useless washed Vet spend 18 and go no where in 2021 too Alex.
Acuna, hopping all over the place and didn’t do shit.
Take your moral victory and blow it out your ass.
Spare me the best shape of my life shit next spring too.

Damn I can't believe the Braves lost to the consensus WS favorites in the NLDS in Game Seven, time to blow up the core and start over.

Someone please put me out of my misery if I ever become one of those old guys who complains about hitters watching their homeruns.

I will not be calmed. The organization loses, and immediately, EVERY SINGLE TIME, starts talking about in what such a great place they are in with such a bright future. I get positive guy maybe 4 months from now, I'm practical. Today is not that day. The next 4 months they should be angry, they aren't even angry now. Getting to that point is rare for most organizations and they yet again found ways to blow it rather than finding a way to win.
You were up 3-1 again, and blew your shot AGAIN,
It's 2005 again, oh the Baby Braves, what a cute story, they have such a good young corps. No actually, No they don't. They aren't' better than the Dodgers and they aren't trying to be. They're just happy to be there. If you're just happy to be there then get the hell out of professional sports.
The Braves have been dominating the Washington Nationals for several years now, they can win a division, THAT team just beat the Dodgers and won a World Series. The Braves are good enough to win and they crap the bed every single time. Will Smith is sucks, Dansby and Riley Lonnie Smithing the basepaths. If you want home runs over anything else and you are into analytics great. The Braves swing at bad pitches like its their freaking job. They are a stupid baseball team. Getting to the NLCS is nothing to celebrate. When you're this good youre SUPPOSED to be the Reds, you're SUPPOSED to beat Miami. YOU WERE UP 3-1. They don't have a bright future, they don't have a damn thing.
That Snitker and Freeman would even fix their mouth to talk about something that would happen next year when NOTHING is guaranteed is infuriating. You had it in front of you AGAIN, and you didn't make plays AGAIN. The manager should literally be distraught over that, not happy about some damn rookies pitching all of whom will probably have ligament replacement by April. I don't care how hard you're going to work this offseason, you're supposed to, it's your job. If I care too much, it's because they don't care at all. Brian Snitker talking about how happy he is..... they're just happy to be there. I'm supposed to be happy they found a way to win not one but two post season series for the first time since 2001, in a year when they lost all but one planned starter from their rotation but in all those failures is this one. Yet again when it mattered, they couldn't do basic things, they couldn't score runs, and they couldn't throw strikes. This is who they are at the end always.
If you want to be happy about how much you rallied, fine, but damnit man, acknowledge what just happened AGAIN to a club that is almost entirely known for postseason failures. You should be upset today. Not happy to be there.
Oh the Dodgers are a great team, yes, yes they are, and they're expensive and somehow they also find ways to lose in the postseason considering they haven't won since Orel Hersheiser.
Just roll over they're better than you on paper i guess.

Re: MLB
They lost to a historically successful team which has now won the pennant three out of the last four seasons, so they are obviously very bad.
