I tried to revisit it at one point, X years after beating it originally.

Meh, gave up on it real quick.

My kids want that Mario Kart with the remote control car. I think it's just going to be clogged with dog hair in about 15 minutes.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

agreed, it is a hell of an innovative idea. I just don't really have the kind of open uncluttered space depicted in that video. Also a new puppy running around that would absolutely destroy the car

That's awesome. I had faint interest over here in one of mine going as Link but that faded quickly.

mf wrote:A few weeks ago i finally started playing Odyssey. I haven't played a Mario game since 64. It's not that I didn't want to i just didn't keep up with the Nintendo consoles for a long while....anyways i'm having so much damn fun. Finished the story, and now i'm just going back and collecting all those moons i missed. Sitting at about 420 i think so far. After that i think i will be picking up 3D All Stars so i can have a go at Galaxy and Sunshine.
Still picking away at Odyssey. Cleared 800 moons this morning.

I got a Nintendo 64 again the other day, so my traditionally anti-Mario pro-Crash stance will be abated because I have Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart 64 to fuck around with now.

I had the carts for years but no actual N64 again until now.

N64 was ahead of the curve with no load times.

So there’s a hard mode in SMB1. 35 years of owning it and I never knew that.
Spoiler: show
Beat the game and hard mode is unlocked. With no save states, that I one long-ass gaming session.
