Yeah good point man, this totally fits with the fact that Illinois was down to ~500 new cases a day in June but has been steadily increasing since September. Wonder what happened in September. I bet it was more futile human behavior.

now i just throw them in the laundry and sort them alongside the sock pile

We still have the rare case get confirmed, but all are incoming travellers who were already in mandatory quarantine. Our total cases since the pandemic began is 487 with 4 deaths.
