Yknow I have one complaint about this song.

It's just not long enough. I wish each part were longer. Even the solo. Which sort of doesn't have enough after it. No closure really. It could have had another verse after it and been all the better for it.

Did you listen to their newest album? There are songs that are at least as commercial as Sirens.
How good are they?

How good is Sirens, Mike?
I like Sirens better than what I heard on that album but I only listened to it 1.5 times until I gave it up. They lost me with that album and I used to be a fan of them. (I still like most of their other albums)

I still can't really judge Sirens. Let's try listening to it again.
- Haha, I'm sorry for the stupid beginning of the rip
- I enjoy the verses
- Eddie sounds really good
- It reminds me of really really bad songs but I somehow enjoy it
- If someone makes the song, it's Eddie. The underlying music really does nothing for me.

It might grow on me but it will always feel "weird".

As long as we're channeling the 80s maybe Ice Cube could work the "hear the Sirens" part into a raging anti-police rap.

I really can't stop laughing at that guitar solo.

Yep. The song feels like BoB put heavy fixin on it and trimmed it down. Still a nice song regardless, but it feels a bit empty. Shame about the short solo too, cause I love it.

Did the stream get taken down? I heard it at work a few times. Emailed myself the link so I could regurgitate the cheese at home, but now it's not there.

Really want to blast this at home. I kept it pretty low volume at work so my coworkers couldn't a hear it through my head phones. :haha:

just listened to it for the first time. after having read a lot of the reviews around here, i was bracing for the worst song i'd ever heard.

kinda liked it. there are some nice things happening there.

It's strange to think this song is 2 songs after "Mind Your Manners".
"My Father's Son" must be one helluva bridge
