Post Punk would be my favourite single genre. I love that it's so varied yet there's definitely through lines to it all. Hard to explain but easy to know.

Here's Tom Robinson's War Baby. This is more polished and is moving towards New Wave, but there's heaps of crossover between Post Punk and all that followed anyway.

His Grey Cortina is more standard Post Punk fare:

I was in London in 1988 and was lucky enough to see Tom Robinson and Billy Bragg on a double bill. Good times.

This is a song from one of the GTA V radio stations. It reminds me of Television and The Sound. I haven't checked out the band beyond this song, but they got a good review out of Pitchfork, so it must be good.
