Re: Election 2020
I've got friends here in Oklahoma who feel the same about voting for Dems...like why does it matter? I like to remind them that it's their civic duty to vote and that once upon a time, OK was blue. It can happen again.Monkey_Driven wrote:There are more things than just the president to vote for here in the Show Me State.tree_ wrote:I have to drive 10 min round trip when my wife gets home this afternoon in order to vote. I mean...I guess. You can either be jaded or feel like you tried.

You're so uninterested in the political process and the candidates that you're just going to rely on someone else to tell you how to vote? That is sad and pathetic, and you're precisely the type of person who shouldn't be voting.tree_ wrote:OK. If you know your own heart and you make an effort to stay fairly informed, you’re as qualified a voter as anyone.

I was only going to vote for Biden cause that’s all I’ve paid attention to. I trust my friend MDs opinion if he thinks Parson should not be governor. I’ll try harder next time.

Which is why I printed a sample ballot and researched the candidates. tree comes in here on Election Day asking who to vote for. SAD!McParadigm wrote:If you know your own heart and you make an effort to stay fairly informed, you’re as qualified a voter as anyone.
