Pick up trucks are awesome, but their owners are the worst drivers on the road.

I don't have an opinion on trucks except to say I don't have one because I hate when people ask me to help them move.

They're non-essential, but round out an arsenal nicely.

That's not dinner party conversation. Take an etiquette class.

I guess I'll have to scratch you from our dinner party list, if you're gonna be a snowflake about it.

Wait a second. Is it impolite to ask someone if they own a gun? Man your country baffles me.

I test drove an A6 recently, it was pretty nice

I have a pickup. It gets the same mileage that our minivan does and pretty damn close to the Subaru.

Would you bring up abortion if you weren't sure if everyone in attendance largely agreed with your views on the topic?
If you presume a mixed group, why broach political discussions that everyone already has strong feelings about?

At the very least, there are far more interesting things to talk about.

An internet forum is rather more opt in than a dinner party. Ignoring a thread doesn't have the same social costs as getting up from the table with a few of the fellas to have a separate discussion in the other room.
