Re: Election 2020
Just typical media these days. Giving people hope that Florida and Texas could turn blue. Florida and texas were never turning blue. This race was always about the southwest and midwest. Arizona was Key which could lead to a Biden presidency if the midwest states go his way.

If Biden wins I'll need suggestions on how to spend my $175.

I believe now it's the opposite: if they stopped counting this moment, Biden wins.elliseamos wrote:Right. "I'm ahead. Stop counting now... Amy?!!!"VinylGuy wrote:Trump may know it already thats why he is trying to get the Supreme Court to decide.

Re: Election 2020
If Trump does end up winning do you think you will need to change how you think of Trump supporters? I am not sure thinking of Latinos as racist is very accurate nor helps. I think the same goes for his other supporters. Do you feel there's a need to ignore a possible cultural divide to move forward successfully in 2024?
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Re: Election 2020
This is the closest FiveThirtyEight model I can find to the current circumstances. There are some where Biden loses Pennsylvania, but those include wins in Ohio or Florida. It IS possible for him to win without Pennsylvania, but no one found that to be particularly credible as of Monday.tree_ wrote:so far so good!JuanHamm wrote:No, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada would workVinylGuy wrote:If Biden loses Pennsylvania he is done right?

At this point, I don't think the answer should depend on who wins/loses the election.surfndestroy wrote:If Trump does end up winning do you think you will need to change how you think of Trump supporters? Re: Election 2020
Probably not but it is easier to start to tackle the cultural divide from a position of power, with messaging from President on down than from the sidelines.Captain Termite wrote:At this point, I don't think the answer should depend on who wins/loses the election.surfndestroy wrote:If Trump does end up winning do you think you will need to change how you think of Trump supporters? Re: Election 2020
Just because Latinos from socialist countries prefer Trump doesn't turn his other followers into anti-racists.Captain Termite wrote:At this point, I don't think the answer should depend on who wins/loses the election.surfndestroy wrote:If Trump does end up winning do you think you will need to change how you think of Trump supporters? He can win by taking NV, WI, and MI.B wrote:This is the closest FiveThirtyEight model I can find to the current circumstances.
