This ignores things like the fact that that's not really a random data set, or that it's not a particularly large one, or that it doesn't really span different orders of magnitude. But again, there's tons of research on why Benford's Law doesn't accurately predict election fraud, though since Mac just learned about this concept today I suspect he has more reading to do.

How much of the shift in Trump support was about anti Covid lockdown sentiment? I mean, I don't see how the feds could over-rule local and state policies on this, but I could understand the sentiment.

He wasn't ever going to lock up the Zoom-class vote anyhow.

I really don't understand Biden's debate responses to covid-19.
Isn't he disgusted and pissed off at Trump's incompetent, criminally negligent governance?

Seems to me the majority of Americans aren't really following the actual government response to the fucking pandemic that's dictating their way of life.
Masks are great and to be promoted and talk of shut downs quickly moved on from.

if I'm Biden, I want the voters to know how much I can't wait to kick that asshole out of office and start making smart decisions.
No more screwing around with HHS and the CDC, the FDA, producing and procuring PPE for the states, and all of the federal coordination that a competent president would bring.
That doesn't even get into the economic response.

Without seeing the actual data sets, it also on the surface is counterintuitive.

Benford's law tags fraud where for instance there are more 900's in a population rather than 1,000's.

It's the 1,000's however that would be winning the vote, so the argument just doesn't make sense.

The CDC and the FDA are huge parts of the problem. They and NIOSH probably should be scrapped for the duration.
