But I feel confident it will fail miserably. Should be fun to watch.
I am not confident it will fail miserably.
Im actually starting to get nervous.
Me too.
Guys. Joe Biden is a career politician with a history of working across the aisle. Plus he just recently spent four years in the White House, and has the support of W. Bush. I promise he is as well prepared for this assault as anybody could be.
Things will be fine. If it comes time to march or otherwise demonstrate in public, of course we'll all be there. But I have all the faith in the world that this situation will resolve itself ok in relatively short time.

Name more than 1 republican that has came out and said a reasonable thing when it comes to Donald Trump and accepting the results of this election.

Bush
Colin Powell
Romney
Cheney's daughter
I'm not saying they're all the best people in the world, but these are establishment Republicans who are not interested in Tea Party/QAnon bullshit, and recognize the existential threat that Trump poses to our national security.

Okay you named the 1. The obvious 1.
0 of those people have any say in anything that goes on in government anymore. The Republican party is Qanon/tea party bullshit.

Yes, but the QAnon/Tea Party set just lost the popular vote by like 5M. That's a big ask of elected politicians, to go against establishment leaders with a ton of cred AND the majority of voters, for a journey that will undoubtedly end with them being on the wrong side of history...
Certainly some are ready to do exactly that, but I think that as the stakes get higher, the vocal support on Capitol Hill will begin to subside, and it will mostly be the MAGA set in the streets.

"Lost the popular vote by..."
You are assuming 1) they give a shit about that and 2) they actually believe that and so far their actions clearly state they dont give a shit nor actually believe Donald Trump may have actually lost.
yea, it may all just be political pandering right now but im truly not convinced.
I think some of them see a real opportunity to cast real doubt on this with the backing of almost 70 million people which would give them continued power and control.

It's a wine night. But are you telling me you aren't concerned? What has led you to believe that republicans are ready to give up on trump yet?

When Republicans are not in mob form they are approachable and will readily admit that Trump is an idiot.
And that has made all the difference
And besides, what are they going to do?
