The Forty-Year-Old Version.
I like it enough, stunning black and white and some good framing. Its a shame that the ending seems out from another hollywood rom com. And also, kinda weird she seems super hot for 20 years old kids.

Rewatched Mothman Prophecies again after Lenny mentioned it. I still like it. It's a nice, slight little movie.

I finally watched The Lighthouse. I enjoyed it, but what I really loved was Willem Dafoe's reaction to Robert Pattison's criticism of his cooking

Re: What movies are you watching?
I don't know if I've said this in here already but
"His House" - fantastic haunted house movie about the refugee experience in the UK; please watch it
"Antrum: the deadliest film ever made" - found-footage mockumentary about a video made in the 70's that has killed everyone who watches it; the mocko is the wrap-around story, and in the middle is "Antrum" played in its entirety; this was a heck of a lot of fun, and genuinely creepy at several spots

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I read the book a couple of years ago and I remember enough about it I keep trying to transpose what happened in it with what’s going on in the movie.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Just in the overall plot of Bourne having amnesia and trying to figure out who he is while being assisted by a pretty face he picked up along the way. Almost none of the details are the same.epilogue wrote:I never read the book. Are they similar at all?wease wrote:Yeah totally digging it.epilogue wrote:I've only seen the first one. Nobody's Fool
I'm a sucker for movies with wintery settings.
And Melanie Griffith's boobs.

I actually liked the second Bourne better than the first. We’ll probably watch the third tonight.
