I can't remember, is that confirmed?
McBride was on a podcast a while back and said they were working on scripts. This was before covid.
Oh man, I hope that happens!

Finally getting around to Halt and Catch Fire. I've been told that while it's worth it, you have to muddle through a big chunk of the first season, and that seems to be the case so far. I feel like it's the kind of show that if it gets better I'll love, and I think I'm into all four of the co-leads despite some weird writing choices.

How to...with John Wilson on HBO is so friggin' great. Three eps are out so far, and I love it. Nathan Fielder is a producer, and I can see a sort of connection there, or at least why it appeals to him. I also see some Jack Handey, even a little All Gas No Brakes. It's probably most similar to Fishing with John, the old show with John Lurie. But really it's just supremely original. Can't recommend it enough.

Started A Teacher, based on the movie with the same name. I guess it will be a expanded version of that movie. So far its great. And the movie was really good.

Well, I'm only on episode 5 - I think - so I'll have to let you know. But it is a good watch.

Finished Umbrella Academy

Soon funny moments but overall not great. The parts that were suppose to be dramatic and emotional consistently fell flat and most of the acting was poor.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
