TV: How I Met Your Mother

Post by Norah »

So season 9 will be 24 episodes, all of which take place over the weekend leading up to Barney and Robin's Wedding.

This show has pissed me off the last season or so, but I'm still looking forward to seeing how it wraps up.

Last season was very uneven. I'm glad they're wrapping up.

I gave up on it when it got off to a slow start last season. I know I didn't see some good episodes but I also don't feel like I missed anything either. Joins The Office (among others) as shows that went on a couple seasons too long.

There were more hits than misses last season. The same can't be said for the season before that. But, I think this will wrap up nicely.

Season Seven might actually be my favorite season of the show.

Pretty good start. Not sold on Gizmo the Mogwai being cast as the mother.

Yeah solid two episodes to start with. And I like the mother.

I've only watched the first one, so far. But I liked it. Laughed out loud multiple times. And I like the mother, too.

Wasn't the mother on the train to play bass guitar at the wedding?

Even though it was in a flash forward scene, at least we didn't have to wait through most of the season for Ted and the Mother to interact.

I liked the first two episodes, and definitely like the mother. Hopefully the Marshall being away from the group storyline ends sooner rather than later.
