If Bo has been communicating with Ahsoka, and Ahsoka has settled on the forest planet that was mentioned, that would seem to indicate that the search for Ezra, whether successful or not, has been completed.

Seems like the kind of thing a five season animated show will do a great job of explaining.

I was still cautious only because there was no official SW announcement. But I believed it was probably true. I just didn't want to get my hopes all the way up to have them dashed by Lucasfilm later.

There is general excitement about this over the next page or so of this very thread. Then there's this:

Yeah I wouldn't expect more than an episode or two of Ahsoka. They aren't going to have her in too much because she is so popular, but the show is about the Mandolorian. She'll have an appearance, perhaps for what dime suggested to hand off the kid. This will also set up Rosario to play her in the future hopefully in her own series or a movie.

As you can see, that's hardly giving you a hard time about the news.

It's a great question. I don't know that they need to do much really. Just introduce her to the wider audience with little fanfare. Don't hit the nail too hard on the head. Just like what they did with Bo Katan.

Those who know Ahsoka will be thrilled, those that don't will get to know her through this and then maybe go seek out other stories from there.

That's what I did. I got introduced to her via Rebels and then went back to watch Clone Wars because I loved the character.

Also would be difficult to also not have a Luke somehow in this series at some point. If we are post ROTJ and will now be utilized Ahsoka Tano, i personally feel the story needs to be related to both Luke Skywalker and the time period of Force Awakens after it is all said and done.

TFA is so long after the timeframe of this show right now. I'd actually be surprised if we cover that much time in this series. I'd love to see Luke involved somehow, eventually, but I also don't see why it's necessary. Would be super cool though.

And as far as Ahsoka's death... not necessarily. Filoni was quick to point out after TROS that we've seen living people reach out with the Force (think Luke in cloud city reaching out to Leia) without being dead or having become one with the Force.

She may be dead by then but it's also just as possible/likely that she's not. Though, if she's not, then they really are gonna have to work some storytelling magic to explain why the fuck she isn't there helping the Resistance. And that will be a tough sell, I think.

Though there needs to be something about luke. We don't need to see him but i really hope this is addressed. If Ahsoka Tano is alive and well here, then there needs to be a reason why she wasn't involved with the Rebel Alliance by the time ROTJ. I mean, Yoda, Luke, retraining of the jedi, darth vader being taken down by Skywalker and Ahoska is just hanging out in some forest being like "Nah we'ere cool my ex lover was just destroyed by the emperor and his son who he had with another ho instead and im a powerful jedi and whatever"
