Basically this is a great opportunity for Lucas and Disney to repackage a new edition of the OT with Ahsoka Force Ghost!epilogue wrote:And as far as Ahsoka's death... not necessarily. Filoni was quick to point out after TROS that we've seen living people reach out with the Force (think Luke in cloud city reaching out to Leia) without being dead or having become one with the Force.
She may be dead by then but it's also just as possible/likely that she's not. Though, if she's not, then they really are gonna have to work some storytelling magic to explain why the fuck she isn't there helping the Resistance. And that will be a tough sell, I think.

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
Lover? That's an... interesting take.
I'm excited to learn more about where Ahsoka is during the Galactic Civil War. All we know right now is that she entered that temple after The World Between Worlds and followed a river of light on some spiritual journey that changed her life forever. Then she emerges a year after Endor to enlist Sabine to help her find Ezra.
Now we're about five years after that. Really, for me, the more important question to answer is why isn't she there to help the Resistance during the ST. Especially if she has anything to do with the events of The Mandalorian and/or The Child.
Does she ever interact with Luke? Obviously, she has no interest in being a Jedi, so I'm fine with her not joining or helping with his new Academy. But there are a million other stories that could take place. It'll be exciting to see what her full story is.

Still. Ahsoka banging Anakin would be a wild retcon.

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
Having her talking to Luke and explaining Anakin as she knew him would be amazing. But it won’t happen.
I think she’s dead by the time rise of skywalker happens. She’s in among the voices Rey heads remember.
That said has she rejoined re redeclared as Jedi? How can she force ghost talk?
Anyways we’re getting her and Sabine in that animated series looking for Ezra so there’s that.

I don't want to go back and review Clone Wars footage. Shouldn't Bo Katan recognize Baby Yoda?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I think he's implying that Bo-Katan probably dealt with Yoda at some point so she would recognize it because of that. But just because it's the same species doesn't mean it has the force, right?

Should I have known/cared who Bo-Katan was?

Not really. Well, she has something to do with the Darksaber Gus Fring had at the end of the first season and the leadership of all Mandalore. But not really.Rangi Guy wrote:Should I have known/cared who Bo-Katan was?

Yes. I'm am making the assumption (possibly flawed) that everyone knows as little about the Yoda/Yaddle/Child species as we do, and that a Baby Yoda would be as big of a novelty to them as it was to us.Greedo wrote:I think he's implying that Bo-Katan probably dealt with Yoda at some point so she would recognize it because of that. But the Yoda species had two members on the Jedi Council. They can’t have been that rare for that to happen, surely.

Sure, that's why I admitted that my assumption was possibly flawed, but there's not even a mention within canon of a planet where they are from.wease wrote:But the Yoda species had two members on the Jedi Council. They can’t have been that rare for that to happen, surely.
