I guess both. We rewatched it in October (because "Mean Girls day" and it had been a long while). Some jokes definitely land differently in hyperwoke 2020 but mostly it just feels very flat and not as clever/funny/charming as it once did.

That's interesting. I admit I haven't seen it in years. This makes sense, though. I have a feeling it's one of those movies that I've held onto because of the cast and my respect for Tina Fey. It'll be interesting to see if/how it's changed for me when I next watch it.
