So this is coming up and Eddie will debut a new song called 'Matter Of Time'.

And from the teaser it sounds like a piano song.

Ed wrote a song called "come and say hi" directly for this boy named Eli. Geezes. 6 year old kid who sets up shop at the beach with lemonade and printed out sheets and t shirts that say "come and say hi" so he can explain his disease.

The Say Hi is right up Ed's alley and I'm trying to place what song it sounds like.

I won't lie, when I heard the first piano riff of the other song I went "uh oh .... this is not gonna go well" because that piano riff is ...well .... huh. But then the song takes a turn and Ed puts a real melody and the pace changes and it has a whole outro and it's .... not bad. I think at this stage I'm really interested in hearing his voice over keyboards. His older voice over crunchy spastic guitars is not as well suited and just kind of done. If and when he does another solo, I definitely want to hear his voice over more keyboards and strings.
