That drives me crazy.

Not watching tonight FYI.

Verb, I think your talent evaluation is pretty good (Dame) but I gotta disagree with you about Toppin.

Idk, but I'd be worried if I was a Bucks fan. It was a s&t so tampering isn't an issue. It sounds very strange, almost like a third team got involved and talked Bogdanovic into tanking this trade and going there when FA opens. That feels conspiracy theory-ish, but it's all I got.

so are free agents as of tomorrow at 6 EST still under contract until then? don't understand how bogdan could block the deal, unless he has a no trade clause?

Idk the ins and outs of sign and trade rules, but his contract ends tomorrow; the Bucks only trade for him if he first signs a contract with the Kings and then they trade him to the Bucks. I'm sure some of what would prevent a trade w/o his agreement is rules about matching salaries, since he currently doesn't have a salary next year, in addition to the Bucks obviously not be willing to trade 3 players for a guy who isn't under contract 36 hours from now.

Windy says it might be CYA tampering stuff and that the deal will be announced after FA starts. Another theory is that Bogdonavic is angling for more money because of the leverage he has over the Bucks rn.

Okay, so the Kings can trade him as they stilll own his rights, but it’s the signing with the Bucks part he’d need to be on board with. Otherwise Milwaukee trades away three guys for Justin James haha.

The weird part to me was that Windhorst says other teams were complaining about the trade as a tampering violation. Again, I don't know the rules so I guess I'm wrong here but I thought that since the Kings obviously would have approved any discussion between the Bucks and Bogdonavic that it's not tampering.

Is Woj to blame here? Seems like he put this out there and the rest of the league found out.

Cuz you can’t trade a guy once he’s a FA, so when are sign and trades supposed to happen? Or are they inherently in violation of tampering rules no matter what.

Sounds like this should have been announced over the weekend.
