I am in awe of how my kids can memorize all the names of things, people, places, etc in Breath of the Wild.

They can tell you the name of any shrine, what treasure is in it, the power of the weapon in that treasure, and the 3 nearest landmarks or cities.

I call stuff "the fish city" or "that city near that lab" or "that guy with the maracas" or "that shrine where you have to use all of your runes."

How the fuck?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I have no idea what the names are of any of the shrines and I've logged well over a thousand hours playing this game.

I am still like this. Kids are sponges and some people never lose it.

You'll be able to play as the Divine Beasts as some point.

My kids complained for weeks about not being able to play as the divine beasts in BotW. They're sooooo excited.

I'm starting a BotW game now (regular mode) where I'm not using any spirit orbs for hearts until my stamina is maxed out. I usually don't get any stamina upgrades until I'm at 13 hearts.

I can’t imagine playing through this again, but if I ever do I guess this is an ok strategy so you can climb everything...

Yeah I feel like this and most Switch games should cost way lower at this point.
