I wasn't familiar with CMS (Centers for Medicare/ Medicaid Services). Sweet, another unaccountable alphabet agency preventing anyone from doing anything useful.

Have any of these guys bothered to offer what motives the Dems would have behind restrictions besides controlling the spread and keeping hospitals from filling up? Like, they really believe they want to destroy the economy and inherit a mess?B wrote:

Only every day. Dems hate America & freedom, Covid is an easy way to control people and build a socialist utopia. Turn on AM radio, they'll explain in detail.spike wrote:Have any of these guys bothered to offer what motives the Dems would have behind restrictions besides controlling the spread and keeping hospitals from filling up? I assumed this would eventuate. Some of the tents going up on sidewalks in Chicago look more poorly ventilated than the regular dining rooms.B wrote:![]()

I always assumed those sorts of things were single family situations, but I guess I was just being naive.spike wrote:I assumed this would eventuate. Some of the tents going up on sidewalks in Chicago look more poorly ventilated than the regular dining rooms.B wrote:![]()

I see these tents a lot around here, in parking lots of restaurants. And I suppose they aren't breaking the law?!?! But man, it's gonna be a rough winter. I don't really blame the restaurants. It's this or close your doors. But a sane policy would hold these restaurants over financially until Spring and LET them do the right thing.B wrote:I always assumed those sorts of things were single family situations, but I guess I was just being naive.spike wrote:I assumed this would eventuate. Good article on how even healthy people suffer from certain long term effects of the virus.

And with COVID, there’s the added stress of waking up to see a nurse or doctor in head-to-toe personal protective equipment staring down at the hospital bed. Having family at a patient’s bedside helps with ICU delirium, but during the pandemic, patients aren’t allowed in the room. “We are actually seeing more delirium than a typical ICU survivor population,” Jolley said. “This has all been exacerbated in the setting of COVID.”
Besides the delusion, there is depression that can set in when patients realize they’ve missed a chunk of their life while they were unconscious, she said.
The out-patient campus at Anschutz Medical Campus is treating more COVID-19 patients than just those who were hospitalized in intensive care. Others are coming to the clinic because months after contracting the virus, they still feel numbness and weakness in their arms and legs, extreme fatigue, brain fog and confusion, and mental health struggles, Jolley said.

A lot of the covid long hauler symptoms are also indicators of health anxiety. It's pretty suspicious.

it's hilarious the lengths people will go to to have an overpriced meal and revel in their own voicesRob wrote:I see these tents a lot around here, in parking lots of restaurants.
