Greenland. This was really pretty dumb, but it provided some type of entertainment for an evening

Girl
I enjoyed it. Mickey Rourke is so goddamn ridiculous looking but Bella Thorne put on quite a performance.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Shakespeare’s Shitstorm
Classic Troma, extremely gross and over the top, deeply stupid. I had fun

Re: What movies are you watching?
Superintelligence and Fred Claus were both surprisingly enjoyable movies.

I still contend that the best Jeff Nichols movie is his first, Shotgun Stories.
Please consider voting for me

Haven't seen it but I'll have to track it down. I loved Take Shelter.

I actually quite liked Ad Astra, despite some of the flaws in it. Had a meditative, bummer tone that I really vibed with. And I thought the space stuff in it was way more beautiful than say, Interstellar.

Surfing on ship doors not withstanding, the visuals are the one and only thing I enjoyed about the movie. The look of the thing was fantastic. I really wanted to like it.Orpheus wrote:I actually quite liked Ad Astra, despite some of the flaws in it. Had a meditative, bummer tone that I really vibed with. "Porno" isn't the kind of horror movie I usually like (I'm not a fan of comedy with my horror), but the acting, aesthetic, ridiculous gore effects and religious satire won me over - I had a good time
