It'll make it even more palatable. Is that better? Depends who you are. But there's got to be some solo in there, even if it's a radio edit, so what do you lose? I wouldn't lose a thing personally.

I love it as it is. If it had just been voice and piano, people would've been pissed off that it was just piano and voice, "an Ed solo song that BO'B has ruined" -- double whammy of awful. I don't think he can win at this point.

It would be like this giant shiny sign that he's tricked us into avoiding in favor of rusty ones.
A giant, shiny fucking sign with the words 'You've been rickrolled by Ed and The Seattle Street Boys'.
Unfortunately they will keep rocking to their version of never-gonna-give-you-up with a straight face, missing their own joke.

So, have finally heard this song. Only one listen in, this could be an Adele song. And I fuckin love Adele. Gonna take lots more listens for it to sink in though.

It seems like each new person to hear it finds a different reference point to share. And the answer is always "yes."

This one's going on my list, because it's no truer now than it always was...

Sure it is. Each person comes in and says "wow, it reminds me of...." And each time, there's a quality or a moment that does remind one of that artist. That's not an insult to the song. It's representative of how hard it is to get a grasp on what exactly it is.
