So, maybe I shouldn't watch this for the first time since the theaters?

Watched this for the first time since the theater last December.
It didn’t get better for me. Too much going on, a lot of convenient plot helping to get heroes or villains to their appropriate destinations.
It looks Star Wars but doesn’t feel Star Wars.

I loved their chemistry, too. It would have been interesting to see how their relationship evolved if things had turned out differently. But I also really respect and appreciate the way the story unfolded. Han's death was important/valuable for both Rey and Ben. And I love what it lead to. Even if the event was terrible and heartbreaking.VinylGuy wrote:yeah, they were good together. Han was a big loss for this ST. He was awesome in TFA.

I know Ford wanted out, but they should have kept him for at least one more movie.epilogue wrote:I loved their chemistry, too. You guys. Weepy reading that
**VG he came back. It’s kind of the most beautiful scene in all Star Wars. You should look it up.

"You're just a memory."
"I'm your memory".
Wise words.

So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.
