It would be just like this election if it looks like wease won but then eventually someone else gets the win and people get upset even though there was someone telling them all along that the results could change.

What could change it tho? Trump did give the wink to go ahead with the transition on the day wease picked. I don’t see anything else happening other than an official vote by the electoral college. So it’s wease, 12/14 or Inauguration Day. And it’s totally subjective, right?

I went over some details two days ago. Trump could still concede officially (lol), or one of his lawsuits could be heard by the Supreme Court, or the normal machinations of the electoral college could be gummed up. Those could all change the date for the "end of the election." wease definitely has the pole position.

Right. It’s a fun thread for sure but assuming he goes out with a wimper...

If the electoral college votes Biden on the 14th, does it matter? If nothing changes until 1/20, does it matter? Regardless of what Trump says. He signaled that the transition can start and that’s probably as good as we’ll get.

Wow! It turns out today really is the day. Since we're obviously never getting a concession speech, I think it is clear that today, the day that Georgia recertifies election results, is really the day when it was clear that Biden won. Sucks to be you, wease. Argo wins

When I asked my wife what she thought, she said she didn't expect Trump to concede, but that if he lost, some day when there was no attention on him, he would leave the White House and refuse to serve the rest of his term--some day like Thanksgiving or Christmas. It could happen!

I would like to thank Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Gabriel Sterling, the voting implementation manager in Georgia. Fulton County election director Richard Barron. Hell, even Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. And all the little people, who had to count all those ballots so many times. You will all live in history, on this, December 7, the most important day in American election history and quite clearly the day that the 2020 election really and truly ended. So say we all

Wrong. That’s not what the contest was. The closest he’ll ever come to conceding has already occurred. I won. Live with it.
