Not sure I see what’s in the Wall trade for Houston. Now he and Paul can have grills together?

Wall is giving up 7pts a night to Westbrook. I guess Westbrook is getting old, and it’s a weird pairing with Harden and that team isn’t good enough, but I don’t think John Wall changes that really. Maybe passing but I don’t think he’s as quick as he once was.

Westbrook probably makes the Wizards offense more reliable. I guess they have to try and keep Beal happy, he’s definitely one of the best players in the association. Maybe they try this for a year. Washington is definitely better, Houston, I don’t think so.

I doubt Westbrook’s usage rate will go down if he’s healthy.

I don’t think Wall is a supermax player anymore.

I don't think there's much to it beyond "maybe this will make Harden be less disgruntled." Another awful contract and a highly protected 1st.

Harden must just be completely miserable to play with and Houston is desperate for him to stay.

He's miserable to watch, that's for sure.

He is. I do enjoy watching him disappear in the playoffs though.

How exactly does this work again. Guy is under contract for $40M but doesn’t want to come to work. What happens to that money? That’s a hundred G’s per day.

He will eventually be fined for breach of contract.

The real question is how will this affect his position in the RM NBA draft that begins on Monday.

James Harden is over here so confused because the media twisted themselves into pretzels defending KD, Kyrie, Kawhi, AD, etc. moves as player empowerment and he tries it and everybody is pissed at him. :haha:
