Rank the Parts of a Chicken

1. Thighs - so moist, so versatile, so great. and very difficult to overcook. they're the no.1 part of a chicken to cook and eat

2. Wings - setting aside the drumette vs. wingette argument (although drumette is clearly better), the wings are delicious plain or with sauce, and are great for making broths

3. Breasts - ok, yeah, they're better for you, and i love a nicely coated, fried chicken breast. but boneless, skinless breasts is where i draw the line. still better than . . .

4. Drumsticks - you love them as kids, but there's not much there once you get past the tendons and cartilage, and when you get older you realize there are better choices. the imagine dragons of chicken parts

By the way, I can't help but be reminded of the iconic scene from the beloved sitcom Just the Ten of Us where one of the daughters, aka "Lubbock Babes," brings a guy home for a family dinner and dad serves chicken. Honestly, at this point, if the chicken is even just a little cute and nice to me, I'd be into it. Sure, I used to like them fresh, with thick juicy thighs and crispy skin, but I'm getting older and my priorities are changing. Just let me meet a nice chicken
