I don't know about that. Avocado is better and Backspacer, to my surprise, hasn't aged that bad.Got Some wrote:I love both Quick Escape and Never Destination
Gigaton is awesome. So much better than the 3 albums before it.

I do not like this album.
I still like Dance of the Clairvoyants and Get It Back, the rest I'll happily never hear again.
Better luck next time, I guess.

I don't think you're supposed to pause Never Destination when you start the car commercial. It's kinda funny.Ms Harmless wrote:I can't hear any music in that car commercial

Sometimes I'm sad when I see you talking about Gigaton, but then I see you rank Binaural at #6.Birds in Hell wrote:I do not like this album.

correct the idea is to hear them at the same time - as an overdubLeatherhead wrote:I don't think you're supposed to pause Never Destination when you start the car commercial. It's kinda funny.Ms Harmless wrote:I can't hear any music in that car commercial

OK but I don't think it sounds like it came from a car commercial if it didn't come from a car commercial? you could equally play... "Whipping" alongside a car commercial, or really any rock song96583UP wrote:correct the idea is to hear them at the same time - as an overdubLeatherhead wrote:I don't think you're supposed to pause Never Destination when you start the car commercial. I can understand in one part of the multiverse that ND is the perfect soundtrack to a car commercial while also understanding that in another part of the multiverse I'm rocking out to it at a PJ show unironically. Such is life.

Of the five Ed songs on this album I only really like Comes Then Goes. The others don't do it for me at all. His riffs don't do it for me. Also the meandering song structures of WES, SBWM and ND don't work for me.

Who Ever Said is one of the most unique song structures I've heard from pearl jam. its like the bridge is the longest part.LetMeSleep wrote:Of the five Ed songs on this album I only really like Comes Then Goes. I love this. It works really well. (And I like the song)
I put it together for convenience:
And an extra one for good measure:
