Looking at the subreddit I'm disappointed to hear that the NPC AI sucks. I think RDR2 might have set the bar too high, but the CP2077 NPCs sound really disappointing.

Running away from a gunfight and seeing 40 NPCs all doing the exact same scared crouch animation really takes me out of a game.

I think this is solidly into "you need to just play if for yourself" at this point. Reviews are too all over the place and the hype and anti-hype cycle has really muddied everything. I expect to really like it, but I also didn't expect it to be the greatest thing since sliced bread, just a good game. If it scratches my immersive sim itch, I'm all good.

Trag, if you're looking for a world class action RPG experience to keep you going until Cp2077 is fixed I cannot recommend Kingdom Come Deliverance enough.

It's one of the best games I've ever played. Immersive, rewarding and beautiful.

I wanted to love Outer Worlds but it was so samey and empty. I just stopped playing it.

I might check this out, had a friend who loved it. It's kinda hard, right?

I blasted through it pretty quickly and had a lot of fun. It wasn't a game I could see myself putting a ton of time into.

I haven't played or heard of all but one or two games on your list, Tommy. How come I've never heard of Kingdom Come Deliverance? Looks interesting.

It's the only game I've ever played where I genuinely felt like I started the game as an everyman. You're completely useless at the start. Can't fight, can't read and homeless. But that just makes it all the more rewarding when you finally start kicking ass.

It was made by a small studio and released without much fanfare. I bought it on a whim during a sale and fell in love.

Had never heard of this, but it looks awesome. Immediately made me think of the old Robin Hood and Quest For Glory games from Sierra. Reviews all seem to mention bugs — any idea if these have been addressed by updates?
Yes, I didn't have any issues during my playthrough

The metacritic is at like 91, so its reviewing just fine.

Its still a lot of fun, but clearly its made for PC and downgraded from there. Next gen enhancements will be big.

I will say the steelbook, postcards, map, and stickers that came with my version are nicely done. Probably been sitting in a warehouse since the Spring, but they're neat.

This is waiting for me at home, so I guess I wasn't dumb after all. Debating whether to get into it tonight or wait for the weekend.

Someone who actually played Divinity Original Sin 2! Is it as good as many people make it out to be?

Agree reviews overall do look really promising, though sounds like this one pushes the last gen consoles beyond their limits.
