Nice reference. I had forgotten about those albums when I was thinking of follow up / sequel albums.
I don't expect it to be as good as folklore, which is more me just being careful of expectations, coupled with the fact that folklore is my favourite album of 2020. However, I will say it's pretty interesting to release this in late 2020 as most publications have released their best ofs of 2020.

I'm really excited. But I also had zero expectations when Folklore came out. It was the first and only album of hers I've listened to and it's a masterpiece. I'm trying to manage expectations, but there's a song featuring The National!

im super exited and i also think the palette will be a tad different too. It will still be a folk acoustic record but im guessing she will change a few things too.
One listen:
Love all the Gatsby references in Happiness
Really like Ivy
Dislike the country song with Haim
Not sure what to think of her Nine Inch Nail’s song Closure.
Can’t believe my least favorite part of the album is Bon Iver’s part on the last track. Dude’s low register is incredible. Wtf is he doing?
I don’t have the two bonus tracks.
I look forward to getting to know this album. I don’t think it’s as good as Folklore, but it’s not far off.
