She and her children will be a releasing a cover album!! Oh yeah...and its sung by her late husband....

It has that 'Patience' single. Which was kinda terrible and by skipping through those tracks they all sound a bit like that one...
With this record Cornell was entering a Rod Stewart phase making records for lonely housewives.

Good to get this finally released. Not really keen on it, would have preferred just acoustic versions. But he sounds great and I'll always take more Cornell.

It sucks. Not sure why anyone would want to take credit for this.

Just skimmed thru this one and the rest of the covers seem about as terrible as Patience.

I miss the guy to death but honestly not impressed with this release. Haven't listened on proper headphones yet but the production sounds atrocious. Wasn't this done with BO'B? Cornell needed to divorce from BO'B as bad as PJ did. Too bad that never happened.

Agree with whoever said that more acoustic versions would have been preferred...

Yeah this was all just Chris and BOB....definitely blaming BOB for this. The live version Chris did of Nothing Compares to U is infinitely better than the version included in this release.

You Don't Know Nothing isn't bad. Sounds like it could be on Euphoria Morning.

The version of Sad Sad City makes me Sad Sad. He did an incredible acoustic version of that which is on YouTube somewhere.

Yeah I've been able to listen to You Don't Now Nothing and To Be Treated Rite; those are tolerable. The music/production on songs like Get It While You Can and Sad Sad City are cringe worthy and pretty much unlistenable--reminds me of leftovers from Carry On or something. Really sad too because on paper knowing that Chris would be covering those two classics would have had be stoked. Agree with whoever said the Nothing Compares live version from the SiriusXM session sounds light years better than the studio recording here.
