The Red House, inspiration for the new autonomous zone was foreclosed on largely due to the soverign citizen antics of the former owner's son. Sucks for the parents, but their son sounds like a pretty shitty person.
Edit: Parents are crazy too

Seriously. I know at this point we shouldn't be surprised by the mindless, violent behavior of progressive "activists" but it's still hard to watch.

Sovereign citizens aren't progressives, they're just nuts. Not every person you don't like or find crazy is a progressive.

This guy was foreclosed on in 2018. Get a fucking job so when you finally get thrown out two years later you aren't totally screwed. People don't get evicted overnight.

Some number of the supporters ID as progressive. Mostly anarchists, but w/e. Why did you think BI_3 was referring to the former homeowners?

The protestors seem pretty progressive to me:

McCloskey's (St Luis gun couple) Prosecutor was dismissed from the case. The prosecutor had used the case in re-election campaign fundraising material. Judge declares that an indifferent prosecutor would have likely dropped the charges.

Let us hate on the McCloskey's for their litigation that enriches only them, not for being reasonably concerned about a tresspassing mob and attempting to prevent further agression.

Portland retailers are not able to renew on their previous insurance terms. Carveouts for civic unrest, with high premiums and deductibles, low coverage caps.

But hey, rioting is nbg cuz they have insurance, right?

Kinda-sorta related ... there is a proposal making the rounds in Seattle that would legitimately allow stealing if the defense is “I am to poor to afford to purchase it.”

Sounds like they were trying to sneak it in from what I read.
