yeah, the studio version is awful. This acoustic rendition is way better but its still a very very minor song that shouldnt be on any PJ album at all.

I don't think I've ever listened to this song all the way through.

I wasn't too fond of his singing in this performance. But he's awesome all over Gigaton.

The organisers of the Game Awards shell out a fortune to get Ed, and he plays Future Days. 2020's final "fuck you" for those guys.

You have truly opened my eyes. There's actually a half-decent song hidden in there after all!

I don't understand the philosophy of singing something in such a low register that there's no longer a discernible tune anymore - is that a country thing? I like the Johnny Cash quality of it though

I like the little part in this song where Ed sings "I believe" and that's it. I really dislike everything on either side of that

It really is horribly produced. Listening to Ed's acoustic performance of it for the Game awards, it's really not half-bad. But yeah the piano and the fucking fiddle (which I personally have a real issue with as an instrument - even on the likes of Country Honk) just makes the album version unlistenable. Another BoB shit sandwich.

OK but look, I'm not OK with you talking shit about the fiddle; this is a *very* low bar for fiddle use

Baba O'Reilly aside, I cant think of a tune that benefits from the fiddle. But do prove me wrong.
