Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I think in general I rarely see good movies the year they come out, anyway. My list of 2019 movies that I watched in 2019 would include streaming titles like The Irishman, but I didn't see Parasite or any of the other Oscar noms until early 2020, I think.

Yeah. So far she's fine, Malkovitch is fine, but the plot is absurd and the dialogue is even worse.

Not sure why I’d a realistic, teenage abortion indie movie that’s serious in tone. I remember seeing on several “Best of” lists last year. It’s one that will stick with you though, that’s for sure.

We watched this the other night. Probably should have posted in here straight after - would have saved you having to endure this

I'm glad you didn't, we finished it today and it was *astonishingly, impressively* bad, it somehow managed to get worse in every scene. My favorite part was when Farrell and Chastain have a five minute fight scene and then he sits down in a chair just to rest for a little bit and is like "ah shit, you've got spunk, kiddo." One of the worst movies I've seen in years.
