Wow, Sony has removed the PS4 version from the PlayStation Store. Giving full refunds to those who request one.

What a debacle.

The combat seemed so dull. Is it any better when playing?

Holy moly. Was thinking of returning mine the other day to amazon given that my backlog is already ridiculous...

It got stellar reviews because all the reviews were done for the PC version, which is far and away the best version.

I’m still loving the game and have only had minor bugs. Shame what all has gone down.

Yeah, I've watched some people playing and, while the story looks cool, everything else looks completely unfinished. No AI, bad driving, poorly implemented skill tree, bad stealth (due to bad AI), backstory prologue is just a cutscene that doesn't really effect your game... This game just wasn't finished and probably never will be. Even if it's fun it doesn't deserve universal acclaim from reviewers.

This is enough to completely ruin a game for me.

I'm glad some outlets have provided a console review. Interesting (or suspicious) that no console review copies were ever provided.

Oh, and a game breaking save file glitch that the patches won't fix retroactively. Once it's broke, it's broke forever.

This might be the worst game of the entire PS4 / XB1 generation. How this game came so far off the rails blows my mind. Not too long ago, I was looking forward to this one.

Do we think the backlash would've been worse/not as bad/the same if they had announced 6 months ago that this was going to be a next-gen/PC release, leaving the last gen behind?

Good question. I actually wonder if they wanted to do this but discovered they couldn't because of legalities or high-ups wouldn't allow it or something. Whatever happened it is super shady and I can't wait to hear the whole story.

So I read the save bug is on every platform but my xbox saves are over 8mb and no issues. Little confused by that one.

So far it’s my game of the year even with the small bugs. The story design is incredible and there’s so much to do.
