If Ahsoka's appearance on Mando is before the Rebels epilogue, though, what were Ahsoka and Sabine doing during the OT, and why'd Ahsoka wait so long to contact Sabine in goin to find Ezra?

These are the very big questions that I expect the Ahsoka limited series will finally answer directly.

What we know about Ahsoka is that she was on a spiritual journey inside that old Jedi Temple that changed her life forever. But we don't know any specifics about that. To me, that's the weirdest thing about Ahsoka in the Mandalorian timeline. I assumed she came out of that "spiritual journey" and immediately found Sabine. But obviously, that's not the case.

This all seems to have something to do with Thrawn. I'm very excited to see how all of this connects and plays out.

I think, at the end of the day, it's possible Ahsoka is on that journey for the bulk of the Galactic Civil War (the OT). Not sure about Sabine. But given what we know from The Mandalorian about Mandalore being decimated, I think we can assume that Sabine was on Mandalore fighting in that war while the rest of the galaxy/rebellion was dealing with the greater Civil War in general.

I'm interested to see if Sabine knows Moff Gideon, too. And if Gideon has any connection to Thrawn at all.

I'm a big fan of speculation and mystery. Sometimes telling too much can ruin things -- or dampen them. So, if I'm honest, I'm good either way, too.

Ahsoka is my favorite character. So I'll be excited about any new story she appears in. And I'll gladly take all the info they want to force feed me. But the more we know, the greater the risk of disappointment or "jumping the shark" (for lack of a better term).
