I miss baby Yoda already. I'm looking forward to him interrupting his training to save Mando al la Luke in Empire.

I would kill for a show with Luke remembering stuff from different years. Have Hamill being in the jedi temple thinking about old stuff that happened between Jedi and FA.

Would be cool but they gotta recast and not use CGI. Yeah deep fake looks cool on YouTube but you can't use that in 4K which is why they used the more traditional CGI and its just not there yet for faces.

Here's a fun fact: there were as many women in Mando's strike force (4) as there are women who have lines of dialogue in the original Star Wars trilogy (4).

I think a lot of that has to do with one's TV setup. My TV is old. It doesn't have 4K. And Luke looked great on my TV.oneway23 wrote:The emotional gut punch of seeing Skywalker was well worth whatever effects deficiencies some of you think there may have been.

It's been a real effort to participate in the general discussion around here for me lately. I'm going to try and be better about all of that and not let the negativity take control.wease wrote:So there was at least something you liked about it.epilogue wrote:Simple Torture wrote:Here's a fun fact: there were as many women in Mando's strike force (4) as there are women who have lines of dialogue in the original Star Wars trilogy (4).

To that end, there was a lot I liked about the episode. Like every episode so far, I'm conflicted overall. But that doesn't mean there isn't a ton to be excited by.

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
I sorta disagree. It didn't feel like signaling to me. Those four came together organically in the story and kicked ass because they were ass kickers. It wasn't like "ok we need a scene with the woman together being tough to win points on Twitter."wease wrote:That was their "women of Marvel" from Endgame moment.Simple Torture wrote:Here's a fun fact: there were as many women in Mando's strike force (4) as there are women who have lines of dialogue in the original Star Wars trilogy (4).
