That was their "women of Marvel" from Endgame moment.
I sorta disagree. It didn't feel like signaling to me. Those four came together organically in the story and kicked ass because they were ass kickers. It wasn't like "ok we need a scene with the woman together being tough to win points on Twitter."
I didn't say it wasn't done much, much better.

Yeah, I guess that episode was alright to close out the season.

Yeah, there was no "wink, wink, we're women" moment.

Yeah they were well into the sequence before I even realized it was four woman fighting together. Bad Robot Trek would have hammered it into the audience and they would done a press tour congratulating themselves for their progressivism cause it doesn’t count unless you get credit.

Without an exhaustive knowledge of this phenomenon. I can only point at End Game.

That moment in Endgame was powerful/important for some, but also pandering. I agree that Mando's felt more organic.

I'm a big fan of A Force, and I liked it, but I also recognized it for the ham-handed pandering that it is.

You're just forgetting.

All, ALL, of the female characters lining up behind the most over-powered MCU hero to "help" her move the gauntlet across the field of battle?

Seems like your issue not the movie's. But I really don't remember what you're talking about.

I suppose one could argue that the more often you see it, the less pandering it seems. In which case, Marvel did the right thing.
