Michey, I was talking about Mr. Quintessential over here. You're a breath of fresh air by comparison.

Decemberists ?
Other than The Decemberists, who are not music but rather garbage.
I’d go with Crane Wife 1 & 2, maybe.
Not sure I agree.

That little trip down Decemberists memory lane also gave me Soma's email address/real name, which is...weird.

Like everyone who had a Livejournal in 2005, I went through a Decemberists phase. I can't really stand listening to them much these days but they have a few songs I still really like, such as the January and June hymns, "Here I Dreamt I Was an Architect," and "The Drowned" from The Hazards of Love. I think Meloy writes really nice ballads

I'm not miserable at all. I'm contributing. You're just getting exasperated while bringing nothing to the table.epilogue wrote:Ello Sailor wrote:Michey, I was talking about Mr. Quintessential over here. You're a breath of fresh air by comparison.![]()

I am loathe to admit this but "Grace Cathedral Hill" can still get it imo.Jorge wrote:Like everyone who had a Livejournal in 2005, I went through a Decemberists phase. I can see a number of people rating TV On the Radio's Return to Cookie Mountain highly in that thread, which is nice.

Good album I haven't wanted to go back to in a while. "Wolf Like Me" still kicks.
