I saw Lovers Rock...the only one so far i saw from Steve McQueen´s series.

The framing and photography were beautiful but the movie was just so fucking booooring. Really a big meh.

I'm interested in The Painter and the Thief. Also want to watch The Sun on Netflix.

Rewatched Children of Men since I'm teaching it in the spring. It's Cuarón's best film, but it's also a very specific form of insane.

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom is fucking incredible. Boseman is superb. So is Davis.

Cool little movie with a great Sarah Paulson doing what she does best, look super creepy and nervous. The story is nothing new, almost a copy of the true story of The Act. But its fun, and has some good moments.
