When Art Garfunkel comes in on "Overs".
It has knocked my knees out from under me twice and may yet do exactly that again. I think about it all the tine

Re: moment in song you frequently recall
I had a phase were i woke up super early in the night because of a shitty job i had and saw the exact same videos. It was Fiona Apple´s Parting Gift, which i adored and loved form her then recent album, and a ricky martin song called Private Emotion, which had a guest singer. I still wake up sometimes and sang the chorus.
BONE FUCKIN´ TOMAHAWK.

In the live version of Leonard Cohen's "Tower of Song" on Live in London, when the crowd erupts after the line "I was born with the gift of a golden voice." A moment of love and gratitude that fills my heart every time.

Re: moment in song you frequently recall
Good thread idea
Not to be a PJ queer, but the one part in any song ever that killed me so much was "all the rusted signs we ignore throughout our lives, choosing the shiny ones instead", if I'm doing this thread correctly
To be specific , I was watching MSG live DVD on a beanbag in my mom's living room i don't know what year, 2008, 2010, who cares
thread integrity: I recalled it less than a week ago
Edit: it broke me and still can

Re: moment in song you frequently recall
Most nights I finish my shift at 3am and make a 15 minute drive home. Interstate 45 south is not my preferred route home, but sometimes I'm really tired and just want to get there quickly.
Oftentimes when I drive that empty stretch of freeway, past the old coffee plant, past the long closed mattress layaway stores, past the hookers and panhandlers on telephone road, I hear the phantom chords of the outro to Sonic Youth's "The Sprawl" expanding outward thru my brain.
