What movies are you watching?

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I was really into that movie when it first came out.

i honestly don't remember what level of enjoyment i had with it back in the day, but this time i feel like the middle section drags a bit...it does plenty to make up for that, but of the ones that came out back then i'm pretty sure i'd still prefer the house of flying daggers

It wasn't a great movie but it was entertaining. My father in law paid the rental fee, otherwise I'd wait for it to show up on Netflix.

I was ultimately disappointed with this. It's the weakest of the 'end of the world' movies I've seen

Ben Is Back.

Kind of a mess, but Julia Roberts was pretty good. The movie starts good and then its just a big meh.

Blood Machines.

Essentially an hour long Carpenter Brut video. Has a great visual style and soundtrack. Otherwise it's terrible. Bad acting, bad dialogue and nothing makes sense.
