Its not better than Endgame. I would say its better than Thor 2, Ant Man and Dr Strange. But those three really suck.
You're all turned around.

This movie and Doctor Strange are both way better than Endgame.
Endgame is TROS well made.
Endgame is straight hyper drivel. It makes less sense, has less emotional resonance, is way longer, it's far more dull visually, and has worse performances.

When Tony died literally everyone (but me) was crying in the theatre. When Kylo Ren died nobody even shed a tear. People were actually laughing when Rey said the skywalker line.

this movie had the emotional resonance of a fart.

Yeah, pretty much all of this.
I actually enjoyed Endgame, and while it's certainly not the greatest piece of cinema by a long shot, I wasn't wanting to just end like I was around half way through TROS

B with his best impression of a 2013 RMer.

I can't help it if you're assessment of Endgame perfectly captures all my problems with TRoS. Actually, to be fair, I don't really feel that TRoS is more dull visually. It is definitely laughable that you think TRoS makes more sense and has more emotional resonance. It has NO emotional resonance. You and dime are the only people on Earth who felt anything for any of the characters in TRoS.

Endgame was solid entertainment, but the emotion and crying for Iron Man, I just don’t get.

TROS didn’t have any setup for crying, so naturally few cried.

I'm not even talking about crying. People cared about Iron Man and Black Widow and Ant-Man exploring San Francisco or Thor losing it and killing Thanos.

Nothing in TRoS made anyone want to give a shit whether Kylo died or if the Emperor was pulling his strings the whole time or Rey turned to the dark side or if Poe used to be a drug dealer or Finn helped blow up a ship full of Stormtroopers. Meh.

The Han being back scene was more emotional for me than anything in Endgame. But TROS in general delivered on a whole other level, much more similar to how Marvel usually delivers. With action and entertainment.

I’ve seen and enjoyed all the Marvel series and movies. Still, they never made me feel anything. Good for popcorn and entertainment.

exactly. The only moment with some emotion was when Ford appeared. Of course, because its Han. But people laugh so hard a the Rey...Rey Skywalker moment its was actually painful.

Dont get me wrong, i dont care about Endgame. But they build up a lot of the stuff TROS failed to. Failed miserably.
