I think these films are far better, more interesting, and more satisfying than The Mandalorian (for example). I'm obviously in the minority here. So be it. But I'll take the ST over the TV shows any day. The one exception being that the TV shows gave us Ahsoka, which is my favorite thing about all of Star Wars.
Ahsoka was amazing in The Mandalorian.

I love the ST as well.

I just thing Rise of Skywalker was the safest and dumbest thing they could have done. Finn is whatever.

Bringing back palpatine out of fucking nowhere was cheap, dumb, lazy, and cowardly. We learn about it in the opening crawl?

It honestly felt like JJ didn't have the balls to continue an artistic statement like i felt The last jedi was.

It would be like if Lightning Bolt Immediately followed Binaural.

Lightning bolt is fine and sure it has the elements of pearl jam but.....

I had super high expectations for this and seeing it in the theater i was thrilled and I had a blast regardless of all the things i hated about it.

But sitting with it now and a couple rewatches has really soured me on it. Yea, i can have fun watching it, but its just kind of....there.

TLJ is Can’t Deny Me, to TROS a solid Gigaton.

It’s not prime Pearl Jam, but at least it’s proper Pearl Jam.

Pretty rare to see an "actually, the thing I love to death is not good enough for me to have higher expectations than this" defense post outside of its natural habitat: the Lightning Bolt thread.
Interesting that that was your take away.

She really was. Far and away the best part of the series for me. The whole thing was masterful.

I think I felt watching that episode what dime (and so many others) felt watching Luke in the finale.

I loved both. Ahsoka just ahead of the Luke scene.
