By all means, wear a mask, but how effective is it? Those shitty cotton masks or even worse neck gaiters are probably barely useful, and yet they provide the same sort of absolution as an (un-valved) N-95.

And yeah, I'm always wearing a surgical mask when out and about. Maybe I'll break down and get one of these: https://maxedbuy.com/en/detail/830775-o ... f3820a28b1

I haven’t seen anyone (serious) who says masks are THE answer. It’s part of a strategy. If you aren’t on board with the masks, which is arguably one of the easier parts, shouldn’t we assume you aren’t on board with the rest? You can forgive us for calling out this “flat earth” approach to the pandemic.

He's not into humping, he's into weaponizing octopi to violate offenders with their tentacles, on camera, so he can watch. To resolve a bet, mind you. He takes no pleasure in watching tentacle porn.

Its turned into the one and only nominally enforceable aspect of this strategy you speak of. Its just weighted so heavily and results in people going at each other, and for a presumed mininal effect.

If you are bearish on masks clearly you want grandma to die is not a sentiment particularly well supported by 'science' or obvious from the guidelines most of us work under.

No one is saying it’s THE answer but it does more good to wear a mask when in large groups than it not wearing one

The idea that wearing a mask makes one righteous and not wearing one makes one deserving of their fate? That anyone that passed might have had it coming for being 'insufficiently safe' (read: not fully following whatever protocols of the day)?

Mr. Tentacles brought those friggin tablets down from the firey bush, and so help him you will follow them.

More the idea that wearing something so you don't spew your breath in the air during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC is basic fucking common sense.

Remember that Americans didn't want to wear seat belts. We are a stupid fucking people. Some of us apparently can't see the difference between a bar and the house where we live.

Happy New Year!

The anti-masker snowflakes are the ones who made it a polarizing issue.

All signs point to it taking a year to get the US/EU vaccinated, but hopefully with President Turnip out of the way things will start to go smoother over here. I have no idea how badly Brexit will mess up the UK's efforts.

Not knowing this pharmacist’s motives yet, can we assume we’ll see more of this vaccine sabotage by people who have strong feelings one way or the other regarding COVID-19?

Oh, and happy new year everyone

That’s a long time. Perhaps it helps the UK, that they are the only country to approve the Oxford University/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
