Any limits on who counts as a celebrity? Politicians okay?

I am thinking "celebrity" is going to mean the person's death is covered by the national media. Does not have to be the American media--but if someone's picking something from a region outside of what would be reported in the US, you'll have to help us and let us know when someone dies (and provide proof that it was covered in the national press).
